Hiduron is a trademark belonging to Langley Alloys Ltd and applies to a family of copper – nickel alloys. Hiduron 130 (DTD900/4805, 2.1504) is our highest strength copper alloy, originally developed for naval applications in the 1940’s. It has been subsequently refined and is now widely used in a variety of marine and subsea applications such as connectors, shafts and fasteners. Hiduron 191 (DEFSTAN 02-835, NES835) was subsequently developed to achieve greater levels of impact resistance.
